The fully automatic cover machine adopts mechanical folding to make the finished product beautiful and generous. All roller surfaces are sprayed with Teflon material. Since this material is not easy to stick to water, the surface is clean and tidy after processing, which greatly reduces the cleaning time of the roller and improves work efficiency.
1. Leveling
It is carried out on a special leveling machine. After the book core is compacted, the thickness is thinner than before compaction, flat and firm, which is convenient for the next process.
2. Rounding
Use a rounding machine to scrape the back of the book core into an arc shape, so that the book stickers of the whole book are staggered, and the incision forms an inner arc surface for easy reading. Rounding can also make the book core more solid, easy to connect with the book cover, and improve the binding quality.
3. Spine repair
To prevent the round book core from deforming, the book core is ground and shaped.
4. Gauze paste
Paste gauze or cardboard strips on the back of the book core to cover the pins on the book core to make the book core more solid.
5. Applique head
Also known as the sticky spine head, it is pasted with woven cotton cloth or other fabrics on both ends of the book core back to make the whole book more firmly connected and play the role of decorating the book core. The hardcover book comes with a bookmark tape, which is pasted on the back gauze before the applique head.
After the hardcover leather cover machine is completed, it must be dried to eliminate the moisture in the adhesive during pasting and sealing to ensure the normal progress of the next process. There are two drying methods: natural drying and artificial drying. The natural drying time is longer, generally more than one day. The artificial drying time is short, and it can be dried by circulating air, infrared drying, high-frequency drying and other methods. Most printing plants use natural drying.
